Instructions
Step 1
Cut up chicken thighs into small bite size pieces
Step 2
Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl
Step 3
On medium/high heat, saute chicken thighs in a pan with a little bit of olive oil, searing on each side for about 3 minutes
Step 4
Add sauce into pan with seared chicken and mix well.
Step 5
Cover with a lid and turn to low heat and let simmer and reduce for about 20 minutes.
Step 6
For rice- rinse 1 cup of rice with water and place into a pot with 1.5 cups fresh water. Bring to a boil on high heat. Once boiling, cover pot with a lid and bring to low heat. Let rice cook for 18-20 minutes. Turn heat off and let steam for 10 minutes with lid on.
Step 7
For serving, place 1/2 cup of rice in a bowl and top with 4-5 oz of orange chicken. top with green onions and sesame seeds & enjoy!
