Instructions

Step 1
To a bowl add cut chicken pieces and all the masala powders. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Mix marinated chicken well with lemon juice.
Step 3
Pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium high flame. no need add water now.
Step 4
Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilly flakes
Step 5
Add onion finely chopped and saute till it becomes translucent
Step 6
Add a pinch of turmeric and potatoes cut medium sized.
Step 7
No need to wait till potatoes are cooked, just needs to have that raw smell gone.
Step 8
Add coconut shavings and then tomatoes. Keep aside once the smell changes.
Step 9
Add the potato onion mix to the pressure cooker after chicken is done.
Step 10
Add water as necessary.
Step 11
Keep on flame for 1 more whistle
