Perfect French Fries

These fries are simple, but will blow your socks off. They're better than any fries I've gotten in any restaurant.

Instructions

Step 1
Peel potatoes and cut them into strips between ¼”-1/2”
Step 2
Place in cold water
Step 3
Fill deep fryer with oil up to max line, heat to 300 degrees (first dot under 325)
Step 4
Take potatoes out of water and dry well
Step 5
Put potatoes in basket and lower them into oil, cook for 3 mins
Step 6
Drain on paper towels once done
Step 7
Repeat steps 5-6 until all potatoes are cooked once
Step 8
Heat oil to 375 degrees
Step 9
Repeat steps 5-6 until all potatoes are cooked again, should be golden brown
Step 10
Sprinkle salt on the fries as you pull them out of the fryer
Step 11
Enjoy while warm
