Cook bacon, chop up and put to the side.
Season pork chops on both sides with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. I use a creole and garlic powder mixture. Sear pork chops on both sides. Put in a baking dish.
Take softened cream cheese, mayo, half of the cheese shreds, chopped green onion, and the chopped bacon and mix in a bowl until combined. Top pork chops with cream cheese mixture and the rest of shredded cheese. Place in the oven at 425F for 14-16 minutes or until pork chops are fully cooked.
