Step 1
1. Boil tree tomato for a few minutes until the color lightens slightly. Remove tree tomato from water and remove the skin.
2. Blend together aji, tree tomato, salt and pepper to taste, and lemon juice. While blending, slowly add about 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil in a thin stream.
3. Once well-blended, pour sauce into a bowl and stir in diced onion and cilantro.
