This recipe uses rihaakuru, a Maldivian thick fish sauce. Try thickening Thai fish sauce with cornflour for an equivalent. This recipe was submitted for Cook the Commonwealth by Visit Maldives.

Instructions
Step 1
Mix onions, garlic, curry leaves, chilies lime juice and salt
Step 2
Add rihaakuru, coconut and dried fish and mix well
Step 3
Add flour and make it into a dough. If it is too sticky, add some more flour
Step 4
Make balls from the dough
Step 5
Roll each one to make a roti and cut into small pieces (diamond shape)
Step 6
Then fry it, with vegetable oil
