Delicious and easy perde pilav….. rice seasoned with delicious spices and mixed with chicken or meat, vegetables, almonds and raisins wrapped in dough and placed in the oven until the dough is golden brown and crispy. Take it out of the oven flip and enjoy some delicious perde pilav…..
——Ingredients——
-6 boneless skinless chicken thighs ( you can use a whole chicken and shred it or chicken breast)
-1 tablespoon of Lawry’s seasoned salt
-1 tablespoon of lemon pepper
-1 teaspoon of chili powder
-1 teaspoon of paprika
-2 tablespoons of olive oil
——Season the chicken ⬆️ and in the oven it goes at 425° for 35 to 40 minutes
:
-2 cups of basmati rice (wash and soak in warm water for 20 minutes)
-3 potatos (medium dice cut and fry)
-1 cup of peeled almonds (fry until light golden)
-1/2 cup of raisins (fry for 10 to 15 seconds just until they puff up take them out of the oil)
-1 cup of peas
-2 tablespoons of chicken bouillon
-1 teaspoon of 7 spice
-1 teaspoon of cumin
-1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
-1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
-2 cups of hot water
-3 tablespoons of oil
:
——dough——
-2 cups flour
-1/2 cup of oil (you can use any oil you want corn,vegetable,canola,olive oil)
-1 egg
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
-6 tablespoons of Water
———Roll out the dough really thin, Greece a oven safe dish with 2 tablespoons of butter put some almonds on the bottom of the pot put the dough over it and then fill it with the rice mixture. Close to the top and place it in the oven at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
