Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Step 2
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, and then add the vanilla and spices. Add the eggs one at a time until combined. Add the yogurt and mix. Then add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and mix carefully with a spatula until evenly incorporated and you see no more flour (don’t over mix it).
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the diced apples with the walnuts and then add them to the cake mixture. Mix well. Pour into a greased cake pan.
Step 4
Bake for 45 minutes heat only from below with fan on, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
