Instructions

Step 1
Combine all ingredients (except for panko and cheese) in a bowl and stir well
Step 2
Alternate to canned soup: combine 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup chicken broth, and 2 Tbsp butter and cook. Add flour to thicken. Add water to reach approximately 2-1/4 cup liquid.
Step 3
Spray the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray
Step 4
Add casserole and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 350 F for 50 minutes
Step 5
Uncover casserole. Add panko breadcrumbs and cheese and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
