Step 1
Pre-heat oven on broil
Step 2
Place tomatillos, onion, serrano, and habanero peppers onto an oven pan and roast until charred but not burned. Rotate to get an even char on all sides
Step 3
Transfer tomatillo mixture into a blender. Add the lime juice, minced garlic, cilantro, oregano, salt and cumin; puree until smooth. If too dry add a bit of water until desired consistency is reached
