Ignore the odd ingredient, this is the perfect easy way to satisfy that taco craving!
The beans? I've used pork-n-beans and mild chili beans, both with great results. So customize with your level of spice and type of bean.

Step 1
Brown beef and drain
Step 2
Add beef, beans, taco seasoning, and syrup back into pan and mix well.
Step 3
Lay the buns on a large baking sheet in open face fashion. Scoop 1/4 to 1/2 cup of taco meat mixture on each bun.
Step 4
Top each bun with a slice of cheese
Step 5
Place in oven under a low temp broiler. It will only take a few minutes to melt the cheese.
Step 6
Serve immediately.
Step 7
These pair great with a side of apple sauce!!
