Ingredients

2 Tbspolive oil
1 cuponion
coarsely chopped
1 cupcelery
chopped
2 clovesgarlic
minced
1 x 15 Ozcan chickpeas
rinsed and drained
15 ozcan kidney beans
rinse and drain
1 cuptomato
coarsely chopped
1 x 8 ozcan tomato sauce
1 cupwater
1jalapeno pepper
minced, Add more if desired
1 Tbspchili powder
2 tspsugar
1 ½ tspground cumin
1 tspsalt
1 tspdried oregano
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
2 ½ cupsFrozen cut green beans
Instructions
Step 1
heat olive oil in a large Skillet over medium heat until hot. Add onion, celery and garlic period cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion is translucent.
Step 2
Add remaining ingredients except green beans period bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.
Step 3
Add green beans. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until green beans are just tender.
