Instructions

Step 1
To make the meatballs, combine the chicken mince, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of fresh garlic, half a teaspoon of fresh ginger or ground ginger, a tablespoon of freshly chopped spring onions and salt and pepper in a bowl. Coat your hands with oil and roll the meat into balls.
Step 2
Alternatively, you can buy Chicken Meatballs, You can still add these ingredients to each meatball by unrolling them in the mix and rolling them up again.
Step 3
Place two tablespoons of cornstarch in a bowl and roll each meatball in it making sure they are coated well. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch to 2 tablespoons of water and set aside for thickening the sauce later.
Step 4
Heat some oil in a frying pan and cook on a low/medium heat for 10 minutes - making sure all sides of the meatballs are golden.
Step 5
To make the sauce add 150ml of soy sauce, 100ml of honey and 80ml of water to a bowl and mix.
Step 6
To the frying pan, add the broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes. Add the 1 tablespoon of garlic and 1 teaspoon of fresh or ground ginger, option to add chilli flakes if desired. Pour in the sauce and the cornstarch with water mix to thicken it. Cook for 5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken the add the meatballs, coating them in the sauce.
Step 7
Serve the meatballs and sauce over rice with some sliced spring onions and sesame seeds if you have them!
