Ingredients

2 lbscountry style ribs
or ground beef
1yellow Onion
Small, Diced
1 CupsBeef Broth
2 x 14 ozfire roasted Tomato
Can
2 x 14 ozTomatoe sauce
2 x 14 ozChili Beans
or Pinto
1 Tbspminced garlic
2 Tablespoonsbrown sugar
1 Tablespoonchili powder
1 tspgarlic powder
2 TspCumin
1 tspsmoked paprika
1 tsporegano
½ tspground cayenne pepper
1 tspsalt
½ tspcracked black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, an cayenne.
Step 2
Season the pork roast well on both sides and place into your slow cooker. Add in the rest of the remaining spice mix *If using ground beef add the spice mix after the meat is brown and mix together.
Step 3
Add the onion, beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chili beans, and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
Step 4
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Step 5
Shred the pork using two forks and stir the chili well. Serve immediately.
Step 6
**note** use 3 dried guajillos and 2 dried anchos seeded and blended smooth in hot broth in place of the chili powder.
