Instructions
Step 1
Boil chicken in bouillon, salt and pepper until shreddable
Step 2
While the chicken boils, boil the tomatillos, jalapeños, garlic, onion and poblanos in a separate pot
Step 3
After chicken is shredded return to pot and add strained and rinsed hominy
Step 4
Blend all vegetables together with some water from pan and add cilantro
Step 5
Strain green sauce into the pot with the shredded chicken and juice
Step 6
Crumble oregano over soup
Step 7
Cook until hominy is soft
Step 8
Serve and top with shredded cabbage, chopped green or white onion, lime juice and cilantro
