Step 1
Tear the oyster mushrooms into strips and cut the onion in rings
Step 2
Heat a bit of oil in a baking pan and sauté the onion
Step 3
Add the mushroom strips and bake for a few minutes on medium heat
Step 4
Add the shawarma herbs, soy sauce and black pepper
Step 5
In the meantime, place the pita bread in the oven according to instructions
Step 6
Cut the cucumber into small pieces. Finely chop the mint and dill, but keep the herbs separate
Step 7
Make the garlic mayonnaise by mixing it with a tablespoon of water. Grate the garlic clove and add it, together with the chopped dill, to the mayonnaise
Step 8
Cut the pita bread and assemble the shawarma mixture with lambs lettuce, cucumber, chopped mint and garlic mayonaise
