Chicken Big Macs🍔

Chicken Big Macs🍔 Big Mac sauce: 4 tablespoons mayo 2 tablespoons tomato sauce 1 tablespoon American mustard 1/4 brown onion - finely diced 2 gherkins - finely diced 2 tablespoons gherkin juice 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Pinch of salt 2 chicken thighs 4 sesame brioche buns 1 cup flour 1 egg - whisked 1 cup panko breadcrumbs Iceberg lettuce - finely sliced 4 slices cheddar cheese 400ml vegetable oil Grab a bowl and add the Big Mac sauce ingredients. Give it a good stir then chuck in the fridge. Grab the chicken thighs and cut in half. Place the thighs on some baking paper. Be sure to leave enough baking paper to fold over the chicken. Once the baking paper is folded over the chicken, use a rolling pin to smash the chicken out so it’s nice and flat. It’s should be 1/2cm to 1cm thick. Grab 3 bowls, add flour to one and then whisked egg and panko breadcrumbs to the other two. Coat chicken in flour then dunk into the egg wash then cover with panko breadcrumbs. Place a pan over a high heat and add the vegetable oil. Run your fingers under water and flick the water into the hot oil. If it crackles you’re good to go! Cook the chicken until it’s golden brown and succulent. Place a pan over a low to medium heat and add a knob of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the brioche buns face down. Cook until lightly toasted. Whilst the brioche buns are toasting, grab the other 2 brioche buns as we are going to be using only the bottom part of the burger bun. Slice the bottom part of the bun off so you now have the perfect piece of bread to go in the middle of your Big Mac burger. Let’s assemble! Grab the bottom bun and add Big Mac sauce, lettuce, cheese and fried chicken. Place the middle piece of bread on top along with Big Mac sauce, lettuce, cheese and fried chicken. Place a little more sauce on the lid then chuck on top! Devour immediately! Serves 2! Enjoy! Xx

Instructions

Step 1
Grab a bowl and add the Big Mac sauce ingredients. Give it a good stir then chuck in the fridge.
