Instructions
Step 1
Season both sides of chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Step 2
Add olive oil to a large pan over medium heat
Step 3
Add chicken and cook each side 5 minutes
Step 4
Remove chicken from pan and set aside
Step 5
Add butter and mushrooms
Step 6
Sauté mushrooms until tender (5-6 minutes) then add garlic
Step 7
Toss garlic with mushrooms and sauté 1-2 minutes

Add wine and heavy cream and bring to a boil
Step 9
For thicker sauce, remove 2 tbsp of sauce to a small bowl. Add xanthan gum to sauce and whisk until smooth then add back to pan
Step 10
Add 1 tsp dried parsley and stir
Step 11
Add chicken back to pan and simmer until chicken reaches 165° internal temperature
Step 12
Serve with pasta or veggies and enjoy!
