Step 1
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown pork over medium-high heat, about 1 minute per side.
If using ribs, cut into 1/4 inch slices.
In a slow cooker, combine pork, onion, garlic, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, pepper, ketchup, liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce; mix well and cover.
Cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
Shred pork shoulder and return to pot to mix with the sauce.
Serve.
