Dairy free Creme Brûlée

For all of the us who can’t have dairy but love creme brûlée, this is the best DF recipe out there!

Instructions

Step 1
In a pot over medium heat, whisk the coconut milk and vanilla and bring to a steep, turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Whisk together egg yolks and sugar until smooth. While whisking slowly pour the milk mix into the yolks until fully combined.
Step 3
Pour the mix into 4 oz ramekins, place in a baking dish and pour boiling water into the baking dish so it comes up to half the sides of the ramekins. Bake for 40 minutes at 325*F until the edges set but the middle jiggles.
Step 4
Set in the fridge overnight or until it sets.
Step 5
Top with sugar and torch them to brûlée. Serve!
