Step 1
Combine the butter and sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy, then add the beaten eggs and milk gradually.

Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture. Divide the mixture into two bowls.

Add the vanilla extract into the one of bowls and the cocoa powder into the other, then mix each bowl well.
Step 4
Add alternating spoonfuls of each mixture into the cake pan. After putting all the batter into the pan, use a table knife to swirl the mixture together several times, making a marble pattern.
Step 5
Place a wire rack on the 2nd level of the oven, and then tap "Send to oven" to preheat it.
Step 6
Once you hear a beep, place the food in the oven and bake it. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool.
