Ground Cherry (physalis) Salsa is just perfect, with a hint of natural sweetness. This is mild salsa, if you want it more spicy don’t remove the seeds from chilli pepper.

Step 1
For the salsa combine ground cherries, tomatoes, onion, chilli pepper (seeds removed), lemon juice,thyme,salt in a food processor and pluse to combine. Chill for about 1 hour.
Step 2
For tortilla chips preheat oven to 200C and cut the tortilla into wedges. Transfer the tortilla wedges to a baking sheet lined with parchment in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 7-9 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 3
Serve tortilla chips with ground cherry salsa and enjoy!
