TURKEY CHILI

Ingredients
4 servings
1 tspoil

2scallions
white & green parts separated, diced

1jalapeno pepper
diced
¼ tspsalt

2garlic cloves
minced
1.25 lb93% lean ground turkey
1 x 28 ozcan diced fire-roasted tomatoes
2 tspground cumin
2 tspchili pepper
4 ozavocado
sliced
2 ozreduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat. Cook the white part of the scallion with the peppers and salt for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the garlic, cook until fragrant. (About 1 minute) Add the ground turkey and brown until cooked through.
Step 2
-- Pour turkey & onion mixture into a Crockpot, add in tomatoes, cumin, and chili powder. Stir to combine.
Step 3
-- Cover & cook on low until you’re ready to enjoy!
Step 4
-- Ladle into bowls and top each with an ounce of avocado and ½ ounce of cheese. Garnish with the green part of scallions.
