Ingredients
4 servings
2chicken breasts
large, boneless, skinless, pounded out or cut thin
¼ cupflour
½ teaspoonsea salt
¼ teaspoonlemon pepper
½ teaspoongarlic powder
½ teaspoononion powder
½ teaspoonItalian seasoning
½ teaspoonpaprika
1 tablespoonsbutter
1 tablespoonsolive oil
Instructions
Step 1
* Paper towel dry the chicken. Slice the chicken breasts into cutlets.
Step 2
* In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and Italian Seasoning. Stir well to blend.
Step 3
* Using a fork or tongs, coat the chicken breasts in the flour mixture and set aside. Let sit for about 10 to 15 minutes and then coat in the flour mixture again.
Step 4
* Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the skillet is hot, place flour coated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, turning once between cooking, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 5
Remove chicken from pan and serve warm with rice, pasta and/or vegetables
