Step 1
In a saucepan add oil, star anise, cinnamon, ginger and fry till fragrant.

Next add in pork chunks, garlic,Chinese 5 spice, peppercorns fry for 3 minutes on high then add in dark soy sauce, water, sugar, bay leaf, salt, vinegar and cover to cook for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Next add in cooked eggs and cover to further cook for 20 minutes
Step 4
Serve with rice and enjoy.
