Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400° and place cast iron skillet in oven while heating.
Step 2
Start with room temperature butter. Cream the butter and sugar together. Once mixed, add wet ingredients.
Step 3
Mix your dry ingredients together and slowly mix into wet ingredients.
Step 4
Once oven is hot, remove cast iron and add 1 tbsp of butter until melted. Add your batter. Return to oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Step 5
Top with 1 tbsp butter and honey (optional). Cut and serve.
