Instructions
Step 1
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat
Step 2
Cube steak then season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Step 3
Quickly brown steak to caramelize then place in slow cooker
Step 4
Add mushrooms, 1 cup beef broth, Worcestershire, and Dijon mustard
Step 5
Cover and set to low for 5 hours or high for 2-3 hours
Step 6
In a small bowl whisk together xanthan gum and 1/2 cup beef broth
Step 7
Add to slow cooker. Cover and turn up to high for about 15-20 minutes. Add sour cream and stir.
Step 8
Cover and let cook for approximately 10 minutes.
Step 9
Serve over egg noodles or by itself for a low carb option!
