Instructions

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups old fashioned rolled oats

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper

Soak raisins in cold water for 10 minutes. Drain and dry.
Step 6
Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
Step 7
Add eggs one at a time, beat after each addition. Add vanilla
Step 8
Mix dry ingredients except oats Mix in to butter and sugar, then add oats and raisins, mix till combined. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for one hour. Scoop out dough . I used 2 large scoops per cookie. Place 3 inches apart. Chill on baking sheets another 20 or 30 minutes to reduce spreading while baking. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
