Instructions

Step 1
Add yeast, half cup of warm water, and sugar into a bowl and let stand several minutes
Step 2
Add two cups hot water, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, and 3 cups flour into mixer, and mix well with the dough hook.
Step 3
Add yeast mixture, and two more cups flour, blend well.
Step 4
If dough is still too sticky, add 1/4 cup of flour at a time until less wet. Do not over dry dough.
Step 5
Take dough out of mixer, cover with kitchen towel and rest for 1 hour.
Step 6
Remove dough from bowl, cut into two and flatten to about length of a half sheet pan..
Step 7
Roll and place on sheet pan, cover and let rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400F
Step 8
Slice top diagonally at about 1 to 2 inch intervals, then brush crust with olive oil.
Step 9
Put into preheated 400F oven for 25-30 minutes.
