Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 220°C.
Step 2
Place all ingredients in bowl except for milk/buttermilk
Step 3
Mix in butter well until you have coarse grains of flour
Step 4
Pour in milk and knead the mixture briefly into a ball.
Step 5
Dust countertop with flour. Lightly press the dough into 2cm thick slab.
Step 6
Cut the scones out and line them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper
Step 7
Brush scones with milk and bake for 15minutes
