Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 2. Mix the almond milk, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla in a bowl. 3. In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. 4. Combine the milk mixture with the flour mixture until a smooth batter is formed. Fold in the berries until they are distributed evenly throughout the batter. 5. In a nonstick or lined standard 12-well muffin tin, fill eight muffin wells three-quarters full of the batter. 6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. 7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving
