Instructions

Step 1
Melt 6oz marg, 3tbsp syrup, caster sugar and chocolate together. Crush biscuits and add to melty chocolate mixture. Once fully mixed, pour into tray with lip, and flatten with the back of a spoon. Allow to cool.

Step 2
Melt remaining butter, syrup and the Mars bars in a new saucepan on a low heat (if too high you end up with hard toffee). It will take a little while to melt completely but keep whisking gently. Once it looks quite smooth, sift in the icing sugar and whisk in. Pour over the biscuit base and allow to cool. Cut into squares.
