Ingredients
6 servings
1 lbGround turkey
or beef
2 tspolive oil
2cloves garlic
0.5onion
medium size
2 tsppepper
3 tspsalt
1 tspchili powder
1 tsppaprika
½ tspchipotle powder
14 ozdiced tomatoes canned
or fresh
2cans pinto beans
2cans kidney beans
1can black beans
4 cupschicken broth
or veggie
Cheese
for garnish
chips
jalapeño
Diced, optional
1can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
optional
Instructions
Step 1
On medium high heat in a large pot, saute olive oil, garlic, and onion for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add ground turkey. Cook until browned.
Step 3
Add spices, tomatoes, broth, and all washed beans. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Simmer uncovered for at least 20 minutes.
Step 4
Taste and add more seasoning if needed. The chili should be thicker than soup so if too watery continue to simmer.
Step 5
Serve with cheese and chips.
