Yellow rice
—Ingredients——
-2 cups of basmati rice
-4 tablespoons of olive oil
-1 tablespoon vegeta
-1/2 teaspoon turmeric
-1/2 teaspoon cumin
-1 teaspoon salt
-2 cups of hot water
:
1—wash the rice until the water runs clear then soak it in warm water for about 20 minutes
2—put a pot on the stove on high heat then add the oil wait for the oil to get hot
3—drain and add the rice to the pot with all the seasonings then give it a good mix
4—then add the 2 cups of hot water mix again cover and cook on high for 5 minutes just until the water reduces down
5— once the water reduces down turn down the heat to really low and cook for another 15 minutes, fluff it up with a fork and enjoy!!!
