Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, dry mustard, salt and cayenne pepper in a large bowl

3. Stir in chives and cheese

4. Combine buttermilk, butter, and olive oil until the butter solidifies in clumps
Step 5
5. Add buttermilk mixture to flour mixture. Stir just until a soft dough forms
Step 6
6. Pat dough into a 7 inch circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Step 7
7. Cut into eight wedges, spacing 2 inches apart
Step 8
8. Bake until browned, 12 to 15 minutes
