Instructions

Step 1
Add some flour to water and wash the king oyster mushroom — 1 pack, soak for 5 mins. Rinse clean with water.
Step 2
Add some salt to boiling water and cook the king oyster mushroom till soft. Cool down with cold water.
Step 3
Tear the king oyster mushroom into strips and squeeze out excessive water.
Step 4
Heat up the cooking oil — 2 tablespoon, chili oil — 1 tablespoon (brand used: S&B) and sesame oil — 1 teaspoon on small heat.
Step 5
Pour the hot oil onto chilli flakes — 1 tablespoon (brand used: MASTERFOODS), peanut powder — 1 tablespoon, sugar — 1 teaspoon, and chinese five spice blend — ½ teaspoon (MASTERFOODS), add in black vinegar — 2 tablespoon and soy sauce — 2 teaspoon. Mix well.
Step 6
Add in the king oyster mushroom and mix well. Serve cold.

Store the Hot & Sour King Oyster Mushroom in the fridge for up to 2 days.
