Ingredients
14 servings
½ cupbutter
browned, at room temp
¾ cuplight brown sugar
¼ cupwhite sugar
1egg yolk
2bananas
very ripe
2 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 teaspoonhazelnut extract
or almond
2 cupsall purpose flour
could substitute gluten free flour for 1 1/2 cups
¾ teaspoonbaking soda
¼ teaspoonbaking powder
½ teaspooncinnamon
¼ teaspoonsalt
¾ cupmini dark chocolate chips
½ cupchopped walnuts
or pecans
Instructions
Step 1
preheat oven to 350°
Step 2
whip together brown butter and sugars until fluffy. mix in the egg, vanilla, and bananas
Step 3
slowly add in your dry ingredients (try not to over-mix)
Step 4
fold in your chocolate chips and nuts. the dough will be sticky
Step 5
refrigerate the dough for an hour. scoop the dough into any size ball onto a lined pan, freeze pan with balls for 30 minutes, and bake for 15 minutes (or until golden brown)
Step 6
have the cookies sit for 10 minutes and then enjoy!!
