Instructions
Step 1
Cook pasta according to instructions on box. When done, drain and keep warm.
Step 2
To make sauce, puree roasted peppers, vinegar, garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in blender or food processor. Scrape mixture into small saucepan and set over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until sauce just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in 4 tablespoons basil. Add to pasta and stir.
Step 3
Meanwhile, sprinkle chicken with remaining 4 tablespoons basil, remaining 1 teaspoon salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Grill chicken over medium heat about 5 minutes per side. Let chicken rest 5-10 minutes before slicing and adding to pot with pasta and sauce.
