Thaw one bag of smelts.
Best one egg on a plate. On another plate mix 2cups bread Crumbs(plain or Italian) 1tsp. garlic powder as much salt and
(2/4) pepper as u feel about 2tsps. Parsley flakes.
Make sure the smelts are thawed cause when u fry they can spatter real bad.
Pet the fish in the egg then
(3/4) the crumbs. Fry til they start to brown then flop. I use canola oil about1/4inch in the pan. Drain on paper towels. Big or small when they're brown they'
(4/4) re done.
