Ground Beef and Broccoli stir fry

A Copycat stir fry with ground beef. Quick and easy. Make 3 cups of rice cooked in broth to serve with it. Yum!

Ingredients
4 servings
1 TBSPolive oil
or sesame or peanut
1 lbground beef
1onion
diced
2 Tbspwater
cold
2 Tbspcornstarch
1 ½ cbroth
3 Tbspoyster sauce
1 ½ cupbroth
add more if desired
2 Tbspsoy sauce
1 Tbsphoney
1 tsprice vinegar
½ tspgarlic powder
¼ tspcrushed red pepper flakes
2 clovesgarlic
minced, or more to your desire
1 Tbspfresh ginger
or 1 tsp ground
1bell pepper
sliced
Carrots
silvered
1 lbbroccoli
approximately and chopped
Instructions
Step 1
Add oil to skillet and turn on heat. Add ground beef and onions.
Step 2
Mix water and cornstarch. Set aside.
Step 3
Mix sauce ingredients together; broth, Oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic powder, pepper flakes. Set aside.
Step 4
Crumble or chop beef mixture until browned. Add bell peppers and optional veggies and cook for 1-2 minutes. (Can add optional veggies with broccoli instead, depending on tenderness desired.)
Step 5
Add minced garlic and ginger to center and stir for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
Step 6
Add broccoli to beef mixture and stir. Then add sauce mixture and heat until boiling, then simmer. Stir occasionally until tenderness of broccoli is desired.
Step 7
Stir in cornstarch slurry and heat until sauce has thickened.
Step 8
Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
