Step 1
Prep all the ingredients + 1 big pot for broth, 1 small pot for rice, 1 big pan for the stew, 1 tbsp, 1 tsp, a wooden spoon, tongs, cutting board, a large plate to store toppings, collander, 4 bowls for rice and stew and 2 small bowls for kimchi, 2 sets of chopsticks and 2 spoons
Step 2
Add oil to pot and heat up then add onions, fry for 1 minute
Step 3
Add minced garlic and chopped green onions and fry for 2 minutes
Step 4
Add 1 red pot of water, stock cube, gochujang and gochugaru, black pepper
Step 5
Turn to simmer and simmer for about 40 minutes
Step 6
15 minutes before the broth is ready, prep kettle to boil water for rice and boil the rice
Step 7
Prep the pan of toppings and once the broth is ready pour it over the toppings for 10 minutes or so
Step 8
Put rice in bowls, kimchi too and prep the table then serve the stew
