Step 1
Set oven for 375F. Combine butter, egg, brown sugar, vanilla, and sugar in bowl. In a separate large bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg. Dump butter/wet mixture into flour/dry mixture. Mix well. Once combined, add oats and chocolate chips a little at a time to allow oats and chocolate chips to mix well. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes (for soft) or 10-11 minutes (for crispy)
