Instructions
Step 1
In a large saucepan combine the corn, potatoes, onion, water, bouillon and pepper. Being to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Step 2
Stir in 1 1/2c milk and the butter. Combine the remaining milk & cornstarch to make a slurry, then stir the mixture into the corn mixture. Cook and stir 1 min more to thicken.
Step 3
Add in options: chives, parsley, cooked shredded chicken or crispy crumbled bacon.
