Bean, bacon and herbs

We served this with basmati rice and roasted eggplant. White wine was a good replacement for red wine vinegar in this recipe. We missed out on the basil and rosemary since we couldn’t find any- honestly was flavourful enough. We used smoked bacon which added a really lovely flavour. Fried up a white onion and the rest of the beans and rice the next day and served it with Turkish Pide bread (heated up with generous splash of olive oil and Maldon salt) and tzatziki. - absolutely delicious
