Step 1
Preheat your oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7. Halve and peel the red onion, then slice it as thinly as you can. Put half of it in a small bowl with the cider vinegar and sugar (see ingredients for amount). Add a pinch of salt, then mix together and set aside.
Step 2
Place the remaining red onion on a lined baking tray. Drizzle with oil and, if you’d like to, season with salt and pepper. Slice the halloumi so you have 3-4 pieces per person. Add to the tray. Spread the honey evenly over the halloumi slices, then sprinkle them with black sesame seeds, pressing gently so they stick.
Step 3
Add the baked sesame halloumi and cooked red onion to the naan bread. Top with pickled red onion and drizzle with the remaining yoghurt tahini dressing. Serve with a lemon wedge.
