Instructions

Step 1
Defrost dough for about 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine pork, chicken bouillon powder, garlic powder, black pepper, sugar and onions. Mix everything together. To taste the filling, take a teaspoon of the meat and microwave for about 40 seconds (this may vary on your microwave so adjust accordingly) then you can adjust the seasonings to your preference. And yes, it will get cooked, it is just a teaspoon.
Step 3
Unfold the puff pastry and cut along the folds to get 2 sheets. Then evenly cut into 3 squares about 3 inches wide. Place on top of a baking sheet or parchment paper.
Step 4
Separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Add 1 tbsp water to the egg yolk and beat together. Add 1.5 to 2 tbsp of meat filling to each square. Brush the egg white along the edges of the puff pastry then place another square of the puff pastry on top. Then use a fork to crimp and seal the edges. Once done, lightly brush on the egg wash on top for a nice crust and golden color.
Step 5
Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
