Instructions

Step 1
In a large skillet cook beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender, stirring occasionally, and leaving some of the beef in larger pieces. Drain off fat.
Step 2
Place beef mixture, chili beans, salsa, refried beans, beer, chili powder, and cumin into slow cooker. Cover, cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Stir in lime juice at the end of cooking.
Step 3
Ladle into bowls.
