Instructions
Step 1
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and stir-fry the rice for 1 minute.
Step 2
Add the vegetables and continue to stir-fry for another minute.
Step 3
Add the water, Biryani or Tikka Masala Spice Paste, yogurt and salt if using, mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Bring to the boil, cover and simmer without stirring until the vegetables and rice are cooked and the water absorbed (approximately 15 minutes). Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
