Apple Overnight Oats
2 steps

If you like oat based brekkies or smoothies then the addition of protein powder has many benefits.
I like to try and get around 20gs into each meal for many reasons including:
⭐️Helps to balance blood sugars, which in turn helps with cravings, energy levels and weight management .
⭐️Influences satiety hormones, helping you feel fuller for longer.
⭐️ Plus muscle and bone support, and lots more!
I like to eat a few different brekkies across the week to make sure I get a range of nutrients in. Try having two or three staples and mix them up so you stay interested in eating well and nourish those beautiful cells of yours

Step 1
Pop the apple, spices, water & maple syrup in a pan & cook on a medium heat until apples release some liquid & the flavours are combined well - about 10 mins. Meanwhile, put the oats, milk, vanilla extract and protein powder (if using) into a bowl & mix well. Once the apples are cooked, allow to cool & mix everything together well.
Step 2
Place in the fridge & leave overnight. Scoop out a portion & enjoy the next morning with a dollop of yoghurt.
