Instructions
Step 1

Cook the chickpeas in water with salt for about 10 minutes
Step 2

Dice the onion
Step 3

Add 1 tbsp canola oil to a pan
Step 4

Add the onions to the pan and let it brown
Step 5

Add the ground beef to the pan
Step 6

Once the beef is cooked add all your spices listed above
Step 7

Cut pita bread into small squares
Step 8

Add 1 tbsp of canola oil to a pan and cook the pita bread until crispy
Step 9

Add the yogurt, lemon juice, and 1 tsp salt to a bowl
Step 10

Assemble the dish. First add the pita bread crisps, next add ground beef, then the cooked chickpeas, then the yogurt, then pomegranate seeds, and lastly add 1 tsp of hot melted butter on top
